Independent learning skills: Library /research skills, IT skills (including e-learning) and support, On-line Learning materials (key information retrieval techniques) to support your study, time management, practicing reading (including speed reading techniques) and writing (including citation, paraphrasing, and summarising).
Developing study and research skills: formative and summative assessment, essay/report researching, planning and structuring academic assignments (e.g. essays, reports and presentations), exams, understanding of academic and professional misconducts, gaining credit by using academic sources and referencing effectively.
Team work and interpersonal skills: brainstorming, team working principles, peer observation, presenting your ideas, understanding of progressive and positive team work approach, introduction to constructive team/ group working (including promotion of equality and anti-oppressive practice), developing self-reflection and self-awareness skills for life.
